Blinding Light
Adam Pascal and Larry Edoff’s new album Blinding Light is an
exhilarating collection of songwriting matched with the
passionate, fiery musicianship that trademark both Pascal
and Edoff’s solo albums. Broadway star Adam Pascal and
songwriter Larry Edoff combine Pascal’s unmatched vocal
range - from aching and suave to raw and explosive - with
Edoff’s flawless musicianship and vast musical vocabulary
where jazz and rock meet touches of world music twinged with
classical. Highlights include Pascal’s gritty vocals that perfectly embody the edgy
lyrics in the rock song “Turn the Lights On.” In titillating
contrast is the sassy and suggestive duet “Call Your Bluff,”
where Pascal and Rent co-star Daphne Rubin-Vega intertwine
in a Brazilian-Argentinean tango. “Just Like I Am” is a
standout, with Pascal and a chorus of gospel singers begging
for love despite imperfection. Edoff’s vocal depth and
emotive honesty soar in “Will I Drown,” a call for help as
the world speeds out of control. The result is an album of
unsurpassed stylistic range and lyrical depth that carries
the alternative-rock genre to new creative heights. Go to

Christmas Time All
Over
Jazz Guitarist, Vinny Valentino, and Singer/Songwriter,
Larry Edoff, teamed up to create a new holiday album,
“Christmas Time All Over.” Edoff and Valentino bring
inspired performances and lively lyrics to the holidays with
their recently released collection of six original songs and
five Christmas classics spiced with the technical mastery
and creativity that parallels Edoff and Valentino’s
songwriting partnership. Highlights include “Joy to the
World,” with its quiet reflectivity, joined by a spurning
version of “Little Drummer Boy.” Antonia Bennett adds her
playful touch to an original, “Let’s Dream About Christmas,”
and Edoff’s vocals soar and never fail to move the listener
with “It’s Christmas Time All Over” and “God Speed.” Every
track is touched with Valentino’s guitar, sometimes
sizzling, sometimes suave, while Edoff’s keyboards, piano,
and voice are blended seamlessly with drum legend, Joel
Rosenblatt. This is a holiday album that will return to your
festivities year after year.

DUENDE
Larry Edoff has created
an extraordinary musical journey in his latest release Duende. The album is a fearless explosion of songwriting,
including the title song “Duende,” driven by a spectacularly
orchestrated rhythm section, Flamenco guitar, Andalusian
vocals, topped off by Edoff’s earthy piano and soaring
voice. The lyrics of “Love Will Always Come Back” confess
all that is intimate and fragile on the path of love.
Larry’s piano shimmers and digs within the same breath,
using his jazz and classical background to infuse all
tracks on the album with masterful musicianship paired with
playful spontaneity. The solo tracks are highlights, Edoff’s
aching voice in “Cradle Me Warm” and “I Have Come For You”
resonates with an honesty that throbs in the very soul of
the listener.

In
Subtle Tones
Larry's debut solo
release, "In Subtle Tones" was named one of the Top 25 Demos
of the year in 2005 by Music Connection Magazine.
Lots of top-tier jazz and pop artist credits adorn the
resume of this keyboardist, who, as a singer/piano-man,
exhibits a wealth of style and substance of his own. At
times, Edoff’s songwriting style is akin to David Gray’s.
This is most noticeable on “She Waits For Me,” a song of
romantic longing. “In Subtle Tones” has a rhythmic bounce
and surge that recalls some of Sting’s best solo work. All
in all, Edoff is a very adept songwriter with an extremely
confident delivery of his own material. -Music Connection
